Commonwealth and New Year = Come On Wealthy New Year!

Yoohooo.. two things to bring attention to this post (which would really be a lot more effective if anyone actually read anything) erm.. we're most likely gonna watch badminton for Commonwealth. The cheapest tickets are $11 (that's AUD) and i dunno what countries are playing who. It DoeSn'T Say!! aaarrgghhh stress! erm.. so anywayz, the finals are all sold out. so are the semi finals. haha no choice BUT to watch the knockout stages. unless you wanna watch mixed doubles finals, those are still open. just a bit pricier.

Second point. NEW YEAR IS COMING!
yes yes, we haven't actually gotten past christmas, but my brother was just asking me what my plans are and I DUNNO.. don't know which group to celebrate with etc etc. haiyor. so what does everyone normally do? I'm kind of put off by the whole Bintang Walk scene.. street parties in general. BLeah. Too crowded and hot and stuffy. and nothing much other than being sprayed in the face by strangers. haha.. But was thinking of renting a hotel room where we could watch fireworks? Initially i thought Times Sq but Kee Win reckons Sunway would be nice. Any thoughts on that? If we wanna do the hotel thing, have to rush! Book Now kind of thing!
Errr... oh, otherwise i am contemplating crashing my brother's do - he and friends are hosting a party at a suite (oooohhh..) themed samurais and geishas.. haha costumes are compulsory (+ rm 60 and BYO alc. Acks.. )
rambled on a bit. new year plans. Got any?

Wednesday Night Dinner?

Just a suggestion. For those of you in the Klang Valley area, Kee Win's back on tuesday and i thought it'd be nice to go for dinner with him soon? Plus, i NEED to get out into the fresh air somewhere, or just anywhere that's not the office or my house. I NEED to see FRIENDS... lack of social contact. anyway, try and reply about whether you're free wednesday night and we can sort out details later. Hope something happens!

Sneeze.

I just sneezed. Phew

Commonwealth = iH Chants? oh my...

So, the first order of affairs. As i have been researching stuff to do when we get back to melbourne, the commonwealth is coming! A few of us reckon it would be cool, monumental, historical, well, a good thing to go to at any rate. as all the tickets are roughly 20AUD (at the cheapest)
Big Question: Which sport(s) do we want to go to??
[*drool* gymnastics = fit men in tight tights!]
anywayz.. i shall attempt, with my limited IT skills, to set up a poll HERE.. failing which.. KeeeEEEeNNnnyyyY... HeeEEeEEeeLLLPPpP!!!!!
Big Question:

So.. hopefully that worked, there's also cycling and triathlon and a few other things.. Lawn bowls, which if you MUST MUST MUST INSIST you want to vote for you can mention that in a post. But honestly, haha.. i must not like it if it's not up.
For prices and general info and dates, you can check out: Main Page
But since we need a group (then can do mini mexican wave) i thought consensus would be awesome first. LoViEeS! more to do soon..

BREAKING NEWS:
isaac chew shern li was smart enough to check the ticket availibility (failing on my part *DuSh*) turns out GYMNASTICS and a couple of other (okay, half of the sports) are sold out. i've left the available options up. Also, there's opening and closing ceremony which are PRICEY at least AUD 75 and also the triathlon, some cycling and the athletics walking and marathon are free. if you want. i'm just gutted i can't see the gymnasts so.. vote as you may.
and if you wanna check ticket status: Ticketing
